To Whom It May Concern:
Simply stated, the confidential treatment I received at Turning Point Recovery, previously known as A Bridge to Recovery gave me my life back. It restored dignity to myself and my marriage and at the same time taught me new life coping skills that are helping me every day as I move forward.
Deciding to enter the program was very difficult and humbling since I am a working professional, in my 50’s, and this was my second time for substance abuse treatment. While the first time years ago was a residential facility for a month, I believe the Intensive Outpatient Program taught me new life skills each day and then allowed me to apply those skills in my family setting restoring balance in my life and subsequently repairing my marriage.
There were patients much younger than I and the staff found ways to make us all relate to each other and see that we shared a common problem. Addiction can touch any family. I say it again; the staff of Turning Point Recovery and the concept of the Intensive Outpatient Program gave me new life skills that have restored my self-respect and a new outlook for my life.
